~This was stunning! The background and attention to detail is definitely something that impressed not only me, but all the judges~!
Though as you pointed out Genesis is in reality double the size of Spaila, the overall concept and just personalities of the character was so effectively portrayed
that it was impossible not to place this as first! The blindness of Spaila was carefully executed as well as the regal and refined look of Genesis.
Well done! Not to mention the painterly almost acrylic-like feel to it; kind of hints a tough of impressionist style!

Second Place:

~Absolutely stunning portrayal of Elain and Ted! Her innocent character was effectively shown with the all too harmless-looking Ted that still retains the sense
of evil and darkness in his limp form. The focal point was also very impressive being that it was neither the bird nor Elain & Ted but a somewhat in-between.
The background is very beautiful and the painterly quality is absolutely lovely! Color scheme pulls off the intense and warm mood and overall this was just definitely amazing and outstanding.

~This everyone's attention right off the bat! Very intriguing concept and those fish just add a very nice touch! The attention to detail is astounding
as well the the color scheme which was difficult to pull off with so many colors! Overall, just a very magical scene and you captured Genesis' essence very well and it was a hard piece of place! Everything from the lighting to how fluid this was definitely stunned us all! Amazing work and a job well done!
