Just a mini blurb derived from the confusion I'm currently feeling over such matters...
Now I already did a previous journal (My opinions on referencing, copying, and fans)
if you wish to know a little bit of my thoughts on that...
But I just don't get it.
When people pose and steal to troll, that's one thing. They're just being immature and bored more or less among other possible reasons.
But when people pose and steal identities and work to gain popularity, make friends, or get a name...
Have you no shame.....?
And what then, you make friends, and sooner or later maybe you guys become besties and you'll have to tell them who you really are (and aren't) if you truly consider them a friend. What then? Maybe some are still kind and forgiving enough to let it slide, but how many would still respect you for lying about yourself just so people like you?
Just food for thought, I'm not going into super-rage-mode over art thieves though I deal with a few every so often and more than I'd like. I don't have a problem once they're banned or they realize their mistakes because I have ended up being acquaintances with those who previously trolled or stole from me.
But still. I used to copy and trace when I was like 10... 11 ? But I wouldn't claim it as mine, much less repost and claim to be the artist themselves.
Everyone has their reasons for everything, but sheesh. Are you seriously that daft to think that the original artists won't find out sooner or later? It's the internet, everything's connected whether you're on a small or big site. You will be found.
Okay well I'm only giving this indirect message out to sort of calm my mind down from trying to make sense of such lack of logic.
If you happen to come across this journal (one of many written by many others) and are planning to steal something, you have been blessed with information that will help you succeed in life but I suggest you call the emergency line and report a lack of brain. Don't even think about complaining if you get flamed at for reposting work that isn't yours. I don't support flaming but I don't support you at all.

Hi guys! i just wanted to thank everyone for the support and patience once again.
I know I've been rather slow in completing all my commissions and staying updated but I'm a little out of touch with it still >_< though I think I'm getting the feel for it again.
I just wanted to give a general update in case anyone was wondering about theirs ^^ The latest everything will be complete is early June because I have finals at the end of May that are frankly stressing me out hehe x.x
But I gotchu guys! And I will try to post them in reasonable batches or something so they dont clutter up notifications.

Just making this really quick n short.
My time on deviantart has been wonderful and allowed me to grow in many ways, however I feel very suffocated at times because my need for commissions and money has preceded the things I want to draw to further my art.
In short, I love drawing humans. But that wasn't what I got known for simply because when I first started, as in on an older account, I sold some canine adopts... one of the buyers then commissioned me for some canine artwork.. and then it got a little bit of a attention and slowly all my account became was just canines.. then felines.. then more animals. Which.. is fine? Maybe for someon

Hey guys! Currently finishing my last round of commissions but I'd like to open one more batch before my spring semester starts.
Doing stuff along these lines! Quite experimental, totally flexible.
The price is set at $50 but if you want something smaller or simpler, I'm down to work it out with you!
Just send me a note/comment if interested ^.^ After these I will possibly close larger commissions for the rest of spring until school ends.

This is very true. Next time I see someone stealing art from one of my favorite artists, I'll specifically send them a link to this journal and tell them to read it completely. Art thieves are a major problem and I'm really sad about it.
