Looks tempting by Capukat Looks tempting by Capukat
Looks like someone just spotted his meal for the day.. xD

Gift for my english teacher who's moving schools at the end of the semester :c
He's a great teacher and will be missed~

I asked what his favorite animal(s) was/were and he replied with: cats.
So here is a kitty! Er... a big kitty.

I hope he likes it! I wanted to make this before the Christmas break but oh well! Better late than never ;p

Enjoy~

DRAW ON!

wow, the rough style work great with the big cat here! It looks so self-confidently painted :aww: I'm just getting started with water colours and I've been asking myself how you can create larger areas with the same amount of pigments? I mean, it seems like everytime I touch it or add another layer, averything below gets ruined :( And I really admire how you created the tiny details on the teeth! Maybe you got a hint for me?

Ooh, your traditional art is really improving nicely~ I love the tonal values and the strong brushstrokes you used for the stripes. I'm sure your teacher will love this, and I'm sorry to hear he's transferring - I always hate when teachers I love leave ;n;

This is awesome~ We really love how realistic this is~ It's amazing that it only took you about two hours, did you use any references or do this without looking at anything~?

the texture of the brush strokes make this picture so much more interesting, and the tiger's eyes just draw me in :D Great job!
